Mid-South Health Care Executives, Inc. (MHCE) is a fully-chartered chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). MHCE was founded as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization to serve the needs of West Tennessee’s health care leadership community by providing networking opportunities and avenues for continuing education and leadership development. MCHE is committed to support for and adherence to the ACHE’s Code of Ethics for professional conduct. MHCE is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and team of officers. Though the bulk of our members reside in the Memphis metropolitan area, MHCE’s membership consists of health care professionals from all aspects of the health care industry throughout the Memphis and rural West Tennessee region (see map below). MHCE Annual Membership exceeds 230 members. These professionals represent hospitals and health systems, consulting firms, health care associations, managed care companies, pharmaceutical companies, and other organizations that provide and support the delivery of health care services in West Tennessee.
MHCE serves members from the West Tennessee region, as illustrated above by the map of the region. MHCE serves the West Tennessee counties of Benton, Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Fayette, Gibson, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, Madison, McNairy, Obion, Shelby, Tipton and Weakley. All Healthcare executives who live or work in this area are eligible to apply for membership.
MHCE is part of District 4, inclusive of Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
