2019 Fall Newsletter
Our calendars are telling us that fall is upon us, but the temperatures lately have reminded us that winter is right around the corner. As we begin a new season, The Mid-South Health Care Executives are still moving forward and continuing to take the necessary steps to improve our chapter and provide the education needs for our local members.
We plan on finishing 2019 strong with our final remaining event. In December, we plan to offer our CEO Round Table at the University of Memphis on December 13, 2019, at 5:30pm. The panelists will include Dr. Michael Ugwueke from Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, Jason Little from Baptist Memorial Healthcare Corporation, Reginald Coopwood from Regional One Health, James Ross from West Tennessee Healthcare, and the newest member to the mid-south CEO circle - Sally Deitch from St. Francis. This will be an action packed night with great networking, food, and robust healthcare discussions from industry titans.
The Tennessee Hospital Association’s Annual Meeting was recently held on October 16-18 in Brentwood, TN. The Middle Tennessee ACHE chapter offered multiple panel discussions and face-to-face opportunities. It was a wonderful event with great networking and education. During the ACHE awards ceremony on October 18, one of our very own mid-south leaders was honored by the College, Derick Zeigler. Derick received the Senior Healthcare Executive of the Year Award from the combined Tennessee chapters of ACHE.
As always, reach out to us on a topic you may want to hear in an upcoming event. Consider whether your organization may want to continue or become a Sponsor. Perhaps you want to invite the ACHE to speak to your leaders about our Chapter, the value of ACHE Membership, or the FACHE credential!
Thank you for your support of your local ACHE chapter. More will be forthcoming on planning for 2020.
We are gearing up to form our 2020 team and if you would like to serve us on our board please let us know. Now is the time to step forward and get involved. You will be glad you did, and it will have a marked impact on your career.
